As a professional tango dancer, Felipe Hsieh understands the importance of a good pair of shoes for both walking and dancing. With a background in mechanical engineering and industrial design, he also brings a strong sensitivity to detail, structure, and proportion. For years, he envisioned creating tango shoes that combine comfort, flexibility, sturdiness, and durability in function, while preserving the elegance of traditional tango footwear and refining it with a modern, understated sophistication. With a passion for design and the skilled hands of an experienced shoemaker, this vision became a pair of understated luxuries — shoes that can be appreciated and worn by anyone who values elegance and quality.
